Do we walk with Him in "daily life"?

- separate from the world
- different from the carnal
- not trying to get away with the least
- honoring authority and living by the rules
- resisting wrong influences and exerting godly ones
- adhering to truth no matter what
- in entertainment (music, reading, play)
- in language
- in goals and purposes for living
- in faithfulness in things big and little
- no compromises
- no excuses
- no careful, controlled disobedience
- no limited ungodliness or carnality or worldliness
- giving Him time and attention and money
- giving him honor and obedience and love and submission

For what beliefs and practices would I die? Which of these really
are worth dying for?

- Jesus is alone Lord
- honoring and respecting the Bible
- owning a Bible
- loving enemies
- truth always
- church attendance
- headship veiling
- moral purity
- godly dress and appearance
- no to abortion
- no to the mark of the beast
- no to infant baptism
- no to participation in the world's entertainment
- no to betrayal and disloyalty
- no to voting in civil elections
- no to jury duty
- no to singing the national anthem and pledging allegiance to
country and flag
- no to military service

For what would you die?

Why or why not?

So many things are going on. Some of them it feels if we are making improvements in and others it seems as if we are spiraling backwards. Satan really is on the rampage it seems. He is attacking relationships in homes, the church and friendships. It is so sad. As soon as it seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel another issue arises. I really can't believe this is what Christ wanted. We, myself included, are so unfeeling to the needs of others. Why is it so hard to live like Christ? It seems so wrong. People around us are lonely, we need each other while we are here. It will be along time in eternity with each other.

I am beginning to wonder if we would actually delay and put off reconciliation and restitition if we really knew how close death actually is. Just a thought that was inspired by a good friend. It hit home to me pretty hard.

Why can't we as human beings learn to forgive? I am speaking to and about myself as well as anyone. If we are all going to heaven then it seems to me that we would strive to get along here since you'd thnk we want to get along up there. It seems like people are caring around heartaches and hurts for along time now. It's sad when people that claim to be the children of God cannot even get along. Tempers are lost, no one will admit that they are hurt, others just bottle it all up inside. I don't know how one can say they are satisfied with the way things are. How can you claim to spread the gospel of Christ if you don't even get along with the people that He has put you with now? I am beginning to wonder if you can't even forgive your brother maybe one doesn't understand the forgiveness that Christ has bestowed upon them by dying on the cross. Forgiveness is a command; not an option.

Three things in life that,
once gone, never come back -

1. Time
2. Words
3. Opportunity

Three things in life that can destroy a person -

1. Anger
2. Pride
3. Unforgiveness

Three things in life that you should never lose-

1. Hope
2. Peace
3. Honesty

Three things in life that are most valuable -

1. Love
2. Family & Friends
3. Kindness

Three things in life that are never certain -

1. Fortune
2. Success
3. Dreams

Three things that make a person -

1. Commitment
2. Sincerity
3. Hard work

Three things that are truly constant -

Father - Son - Holy Spirit
